We were fortunate at Surrey to have the hugely entertaining Richard Wiseman pay us a visit yesterday. Formerly a stage magician and now psychologist he specialises in explaining the gap between what we perceive and reality. As a good postmodernist I try to stay well away from reality ;-) but Wiseman was an excellent speaker. See if you spot what is going on in this video - in a packed room of psychologists only one person spotted it before the reveal.
