PhDs involve lots of end stages and false summits - final draft, submission, viva (examination), minor corrections, printing and binding, approval, emailed spreadsheet of recent PhDs awarded by the university (!) and then the actual certificate. The viva last summer felt like the big moment but it is nice to finally have the paperwork and my new gender-ambiguous title.

Whit Moor Stone Circle
Remote stone circle on Dartmoor. Hard to reach and surrounded by deep bogs. Access and lighting make it hard to photograph. Aiming to visit summer 2011 to shoot 360 degree from inside the circle in 1080p HD.
